My beloved community members,
Greetings to one and all.
The World Bharuchi Vohra Federation (WBVF) was formed on February 19, 2019 and this year marks the fourth anniversary of the federation. I feel delighted to mention here some of the great achievements we have made so far.
During the period under review, WBVF undertook several projects aimed at achieving our dream of a "connected, empowered, educated, and prosperous community".
We started this odyssey from our motherland India. Our achievements are highlighted below.
The first year of WBVF was spent on strategically planning, creating networks and assigning coordinators globally.
In the second year, our first iconic project was launched : Scholarships for needy and deserving students. Alhamdulillah, In the last three years, we empowered 2102 bright students by giving them scholarships to the tune of indian Rupees 23 millions. It is a tremendous achievement indeed and one that is still growing.
Furthering our efforts to provide an all-inclusive education, other projects like the Commerce Championship, Competitive exams for government jobs, TET (Teachers Eligibility Test), and primary education reforms were launched. Each of these projects have brought targeted results and will continue to do so until the final goal of "Vision 2025" is achieved.
The "Making 100 Billionaires" is a unique and innovative project conceptualized to connect the youths of our community and it was launched under the mentorship of our Board of Directors member Janab Faruk G. Patel who himself is a successful entrepreneur.
We have also done a soft launch of two very useful projects, namely, a diagnostic centre that includes research in women diseases and awareness programs, and a matrimonial project.
The WBVF's credit and Co-operative society project aimed at inculcating saving habits and providing interest free loans which resulted in economic empowerment of the lower and middle class. This project has taken off very successfully and is gradually generating positive results.
The last but not the least. A great land mark project for Allah's special children. For this purpose, a multi therapy centre was set up where 70 intellectually challenged children are currently getting therapy. The result has been so encouraging that we are now gearing up to initiate a huge centre of excellence project that is internationally accredited.
On the international scene, the UK chapter is taking off steadily. VVUK played a vital role by collaborating with WBVF in tackling the Covid-19 pandemic successfully. London and Leicester blocks further supported this cause by conducting several community welfare programs.
Awareness drive is underway in the Middle East region and the African continent.
Based on our success of the last four years, we firmly believe that with the grace of the Almighty Allah SWT, we will achieve many new milestones even in the toughest of times. I believe that we face transformative moments in life today especially due to prolonged effect of Covid-19 in our communities for years to come
It would be pertinent to mention here that WBVF played an exemplary roll in helping patients, hospitals and poor people during Covid-19 pandemic.
I remain indebted to all our donors, board members, staff members, Team members and well-wishers and hope for your continued generous support and duas.
Together we have accomplished incredible, life-changing goals globally but that good work always begun with you.
Your kindness and services unite our community in both the good times and in times of great need. Be assured that there always are the dedicated, hardworking and committed WBVFians at a times of great need anywhere globally.
